When will my Moodle become available to me after registration/payment?

It will be activated immediately.

Do you offer a free trial?

Our plan for 50 users is free for lifetime unless you stop using it for an extended period. For more users, you need to purchase a paid plan. You can always start with a Free plan and upgrade it when required.

What if I am not satisfied with the paid plan - can I cancel it and get a refund?

For paid plans, while you will need to make a payment initially, if you find the plan unsuitable, you have the freedom to cancel it within 30 days, and we will promptly issue a refund. No refunds are allowed after 30 days of purchase.

Will you help with migration of my older version of Moodle on my MooDIY site?

Yes, we provide one-time free migration in annual plans for your old but supported version of Moodle including upgrade to the current Moodle version. In Essentials plan, please verify that the plugins that you intend to use are available in the pre-configured list of plugins available here.

Can I install third-party plugins from the Moodle database?

No, you can only use the pre-installed plugins already available in your installation in Essentials Plan. Plugins in the Essentials Plan is a superset of the plugins available on MoodleCloud.

Can I upgrade or change my Moodle version?

In the Essentials plan, Moodle sites run the latest and most stable version of Moodle.

Can I get a custom-branded mobile app for my Moodle site?

Yes, you can have your custom-branded mobile app as a paid optional. Please contact our support team for further assistance.

Who is eligible to receive standard support?

Only the primary contact of the MooDIY account is eligible for standard support in Essentials plan.

Do you provide training for Moodle usage?

Training is offered as an paid optional. Please contact our support team for further assisstance.

What is the process of upgrading my plan?

You can upgrade your plan from your account on the client portal {link} upon payment of the difference for the remaining period of your billing period. Your plan will be immediately and automatically upgraded and become ready for use upon payment.

Can I downgrade my plan?

Sure. However, no refund is allowed for the downgrades.

What happens if the number of users or the storage cross the plan limits?

You will be reminded to upgrade your plan when you reach 90% of any of your usage limits. You may not be able to create new users and unable to upload new files when you've exhausted any of the limits.

Even our minimum paid plan offers more storage space as compared to the largest plan at MoodleCloud and this of course, increases substantially for the paid plans.

Unlike MoodleCloud’s limit of 1,000 users, you have ample room to grow as you can scale up to 3,000 users instantaneously. Essentials Plans sets you free by offering many more curated themes and pre-configured plugins including themes and course formats instead of a very constrained set of plugins at MoodleCloud.

You also get a free mobile app without limitations on the number of users and offline courses.
